We made it through….actually this was our best holiday yet to be honest.  DH worked with the industry for the last few years, and has not been able to get much time off for the holidays, if any.  So, as any aviaiton wife would, I attended my family’s Christmas and his family’s Christmas.  Often with questions about where he was.  This year we both managed to have a week off.  I’m sure this is the last time we will have that in quite some time, so we made the best of it.  WE ended up celebrating three times (DH’s parents are divorced.)  We were able to spend time with his sister, see friends, and I spent time with my baby niece.  

Now we are back to the real world.  As this is going to be DH’s last semester at school, he has to start preparing for the “real world”.  We have to get his log book caught up.  His official book is a semester behind, but he has all of the hours recorded.  Get letters of recommendation.  Work on the resume, etc.  We’re hoping he will have students here for the Spring, and then everything is up in the air.  So while he is doing that, I am starting the same process.  Who knoes where he will be next year, so I need to have all of my stuff in order to start the interviewing process all over.  We’ll see how this works, since he has no idea where he will be.
